An ethereal and haunting bridge between the dream world and a stark reality, Somnium holds a very special place in our hearts. The very first Honey Head Film was conceptualized and written in the fall of 2016, produced and shot that winter with a world premiere at the Charlotte International Film Festival the following year.

A true labor of love, an inspiring experiment with a promising result - this twelve minute short film marked the birth of our production company and the resurgence of collaborative, DIY indie filmmaking in our community with 50% of the crew positions being held by women.
