A haunting slice of life that delicately explores the opioid crisis plaguing so many of our rural Appalachian communities. Developed and produced over the course of a month, this ten-page short narrative boasts a hyper-local cast and talented crew. Proof that inspiration sprouts in unexpected places, the idea for this project was born during a trip to New England where we were premiering another Southern drama - A Song For Imogene.
Co-produced by our Wilmington comrades at Port City Films and Lighthouse Films, this gritty drama starring teenage newcomer Jane Lewallen is currently making its way through post production with an anticipated 2024 premiere.
